Investors from America are now looking at the Indian real estate market, as the investments are much safer in India. The region is enjoying very good property market fundamentals. Now the credit crisis has not significantly affected the markets and the liquidity levels are still high with both foreign and local investors. Many small and medium sized funds from America are looking at the Indian market. This has attracted smaller and non-institutional investors from America to invest money in the Indian market, in order to take minimum risks. Generally the residential, commercial and hospitality properties are preferred by the foreign investors.

Home sellers and buyers across Northwest Louisiana have nothing to worry about the real estate market in Louisiana; according to a source, the local real estate market is well-built. Followed by Baton Rouge, the Northwest Louisiana stands second, where 3,753 houses were sold form January to September, 2007; valuing nearly $562.3 million. The market in oil rich states such as Oklahoma and Texas is equally excellent.
