Appraisal
It is a written justification of the value paid for the real estate investment property, initially based on an analysis of comparable sales of similar homes nearby.
Agent
One authorized to stand for and to act in support of another person (called the principal). Unlike an employee, who just works for a principal, an agent works in the replacement of a principal.
Assessed value
The assessment placed on real estate property by a public tax evaluator for purposes of taxation.
